COCA Hits $30.4M in Card Spend at $61 per Transaction
Paymentscan has added the COCA Card to its tracker, and the page checked for this article shows $30.38M in total card volume, 496,549 transactions and 14,614 addresses since the card launched in March 2026.
The headline number is less interesting than what divides into it. Across the whole period, the average transaction works out to roughly $61. August, the strongest month, shows $7.979M across 133,842 transactions and 7,789 active addresses, which is about $60 per transaction and around $1,024 per active address for the month. That is a profile built from frequent small purchases rather than occasional large ones: in August, an active address averaged roughly 17 transactions.
Monthly volume has climbed steadily rather than in a single jump. April registered $1.165M, May $5.746M, June $6.165M, July $6.39M, and August $7.979M. The September figure of $2.936M covers a partial month, and at 46,454 transactions across the first eleven days it tracks close to the August daily pace rather than showing a break in either direction.
Two caveats belong with the numbers. Paymentscan marks the data as onchain only and describes the tracked activity as program-issuer settlements on Base, so these are settlement flows rather than a direct count of what each cardholder tapped. Batched settlements also mean transaction and address counts do not map cleanly onto individual users, which matters most when reading the per-address figure as if it described one person's monthly spending.
The tracker leaves COCA's fee and cashback fields blank, so the rates are not part of what this data verifies. Cashback terms come from COCA's own tier structure, where the monthly cashback cap was removed earlier this month. For anyone comparing cards, the Paymentscan entry answers whether balances are reaching merchants at volume, and it does not answer whether the fees, regional access or KYC requirements suit a particular user.
