Nexo Card Adds Apple Pay for iPhone and Apple Watch Payments
The Nexo Card can now be added to Apple Wallet for payments in stores, online and inside apps. Apple Pay payments with the Nexo Card are confirmed with Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple does not share the card number with merchants.
Apple Pay changes the payment surface, not the card's account rules. Adding the Nexo Card to Wallet does not create a second balance or a separate spending line. A payment still draws on the Nexo Card account behind the tokenised Apple Pay credential, so the card's existing approval, available balance and market eligibility still apply.
Apple Pay with the Nexo Card works on iPhone 6 and later, on Apple Watch paired with a compatible iPhone, on supported iPad models, and in Safari on Macs from 2012 or later. Setup is the normal Wallet flow: open Apple Wallet, tap the plus sign and add the Nexo Card.
Freezing the Nexo Card in the Nexo app also blocks Apple Pay payments. Wallet still shows the card, but the authorisation behind it is unavailable until the card is unfrozen. A lost physical card is normally frozen in the Nexo app, and that freeze stops Apple Pay too, so the phone is not a backup payment route while the card stays frozen.
