Claynosaurz x Jupiter Card FX rebate stops at $100 a month
Jupiter Mobile is issuing a co-branded Visa Platinum card with Claynosaurz, ordered from the Spend tab in the app alongside the standard Jupiter Card. The virtual card costs $25, pays 2% cashback capped at $100 a month, and refunds foreign exchange fees in full until the end of 2026 on the first $10,000 of spend each calendar month. Physical versions are listed as coming soon, and the card is open to residents of the countries Jupiter supports except the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan and South Korea.
The $100 cashback cap is shared with every other Jupiter card
The cap applies at account level: $100 a month across all cards under the same JupID. The standard Jupiter Card already earns 2% as its base rate, so ordering the Claynosaurz design adds no cashback headroom, only a second design drawing on the same allowance. Whatever the $25 buys, it is not a second cap.
At a 1.8% fee, the $10,000 allowance is out of reach
Jupiter cards are issued by Rain or by DCS depending on country of residence, and the foreign exchange fee follows the issuer: 1% on Rain, 1.8% on DCS. Each benefit is capped at $100 a month. At 1%, $10,000 of non-dollar spend produces exactly $100 of fees, so the two limits land on the same number. At 1.8%, $100 of fees arrives at about $5,556, and the $10,000 figure never binds.
Residence decides the issuer. DCS issues in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Four of those nine are excluded from the Claynosaurz card, which leaves Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand paying 1.8% and hitting the rebate ceiling at roughly half the spend the card page advertises.
The $25 comes back after $2,500 of foreign spend, or $1,389
Measured against the fee it refunds, the price of the card is recovered after $2,500 of non-dollar spend on a card issued by Rain, and about $1,389 on one issued by DCS. Below that the design costs more than it returns. Spending in US dollars carries no foreign exchange fee at all, so it contributes nothing toward the $25.
Extra Claynosaurz holder rewards have no published terms
The announcement lists extra rewards for loyal Claynosaurz holders. The card page describes the partnership as long term and points to social accounts for seasonal perks, without naming a rate, a threshold or a date. That part cannot be priced yet.
Underneath the artwork this is the ordinary Jupiter Card: USDC or USDT deposits credited one to one as a US dollar balance, no annual fee, refunds that take up to seven business days and do not return the original foreign exchange fee, and a list of merchant categories that decline automatically.
The rebate is worth whatever foreign spending costs in fees, up to $100 a month. For a card used mostly at home that is nothing, and the 2% was already available without paying $25.
